Don't fight with the doctor!

'Not until recently has the medicine of Asia been regarded in Poland as a mixture of Black magic, parapsychology and sect' - Jacek Świdziński
My teacher of medicine in Ulan Bator imprinted on me and my colleagues a rule: you have to cooperate with the patient - says Sainjargal Byambasuren, Mongolian doctor, called dr Sena. - In Poland it is sometimes so, that the patient comes to the doctor not for treatment but to find out what the doctor he has heard of so much is like - what his methods are and whether they are effective. Such a patient is driven by curiosity rather than a need for recovery. According to the medicine of the East, it is both patient and the doctor that should head together for remedy. The differences between the European and Asian medicines do not vanish; the two just start to transcedend each other and compliment each other. Doctor's Sena account of the combined usage of acupuncture and ultrasonic scanner for healing the ailment of gallbladder is one example. Still, the differences remain as far as e.g. herbal medicine, which is very rigidly controlled in Poland. In Poland herbs are used separately. It is known that St. John's Wort is good for liver and Salvia for inflammation of oral cavity. Asian medicine, resorting to herbs on much bigger scale than it is done in Europe, uses almost exclusively mixtures. Even the Mongolian doctor does not know what is the detailed composition of certain mixtures. They are created by Mongolian and Tibetan masters of herbs who are very reluctant to give away their secrets. Still, it works. Doctor Sena heals ailments of circulatory system, high blood pressure, neurosis, sleeplessness, headaches, migraines, paralysis, allergy, running nose, rheumatism, spinal pains, gallbladder ailments and many more. She also runs anti-nicotine and weight lose treatments. - Is there anything you don't deal with? - I ask cunningly. - Yes - first and foremost cancer. - she responds - Generally I do not undertake treatment of the sicknesses in their advanced stadium. This is what the philosophy of our medicine says. How does dr Sena treat? - I ask Zbigniew O, who got here after a stroke and partial paralysis of right side of the body. - Differently. Effectively. I am unable to describe all these massages, but all in all - it helps. I don't care how she does it. What matters for me is that I regain my lost efficiency.
